The fair print:
two cards free. Pro when you’re ready.
These terms cover two things: using the KasCash app, and subscribing to KasCash Pro. The deal is simple — your first 2 cards are free forever, a Pro subscription removes the limit, and billing runs entirely through Apple and Google, never through us. This page spells out the rest, without the legalese fog.
The agreement.
KasCash (“the app,” “we,” or “us”) is a credit-card tracker for iPhone and Android, operated independently from Manila, Philippines. By downloading, installing, or using KasCash — or by subscribing to KasCash Pro — you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy.
If you don’t agree with something here, the fix is unglamorous but honest: don’t use the app. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the laws of your country that can’t be waived by contract.
What KasCash is (and isn’t).
KasCash is a tracker. You type in your cards — bank, last 4 digits, credit limit, statement day, due day — and the app keeps them on one screen and reminds you before payments are due.
Just as important is what KasCash is not:
- Not a bank or financial institution. We don’t hold money, move money, or process payments to your card issuers.
- Not connected to your bank. There’s no account linking, no aggregator, no screen-scraping. Everything in the app is something you typed in yourself.
- Not a financial adviser. Numbers, reminders, and summaries in the app are informational. They are not financial, legal, or tax advice.
In one line: KasCash never touches your money. It only helps you remember to.
Your account.
You can sign in with Google, with Apple, or continue as a guest. What each option shares with us is covered in the Privacy Policy. A few ground rules:
- Age. You must be at least 16 and legally able to hold a credit card in your country to use KasCash.
- One person per account. Your account is yours. Don’t share sign-in access, and don’t impersonate anyone else.
- Guest accounts live on the device. If you use KasCash as a guest, your data exists only on that phone. Uninstall the app or lose the device and the data is gone — we have no copy to restore. Signing in with Google or Apple upgrades the same account in place.
- Sessions expire. For your protection, signed-in sessions end after 30 days and you’ll be asked to sign in again.
Free plan and KasCash Pro.
Every feature of KasCash is free for your first 2 cards — reminders, activity tracking, color themes, hide-balances, all of it. When you try to add a 3rd card, the app offers KasCash Pro, an auto-renewing subscription that removes the card limit.
| Plan | Price | Renews |
|---|---|---|
| KasCash Pro — Monthly | ₱39/ month | Every month until cancelled |
| KasCash Pro — Annual | ₱299/ year | Every 12 months until cancelled. Works out to about ₱25 a month — roughly 36% less than paying monthly. |
Prices are in Philippine pesos. The exact amount you pay is always the one shown on the App Store or Google Play purchase sheet at checkout — it may differ slightly with local taxes or regional store pricing, and the store’s figure is the binding one.
The gate, precisely: the free plan keeps 2 active cards. If you subscribe, add more, and later cancel, KasCash keeps your 2 oldest cards active and locks the rest — locked cards stay in your list but appear greyed and read-only, and drop out of totals, reminders, and widgets until you subscribe again. Nothing is deleted: the moment you re-subscribe or restore a purchase, every locked card returns exactly as it was. We never delete your data or hold it hostage — a lapsed Pro simply falls back to the 2-card free plan.
We may change Pro pricing or what’s included in each plan. Price changes never apply silently to an active subscription — Apple or Google will notify you and, where required, ask you to agree before the new price takes effect.
Billing and auto-renewal.
All payment goes through Apple (on iPhone) or Google Play (on Android). We never see, collect, or store the card or payment method you pay with — that relationship is between you and your app store.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- The renewal charge happens within 24 hours before the current period ends, at the then-current price for your plan.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription any time in your device’s subscription settings — Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on iPhone, or Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions on Android.
If a renewal payment fails, the store retries on its own schedule; if it can’t collect, Pro simply lapses and the app returns to the free plan. No penalties, no debt — and, per section 04, no lost data.
Cancelling and refunds.
Cancelling is yours to do at any time, for any reason, in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription — the store keeps billing until you cancel there.
When you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, then the app returns to the free plan. There are no prorated refunds for the unused remainder of a billing period.
Refunds are handled by the store you bought through, under their policies — we can’t issue them directly because we never took your payment:
- Apple: request at reportaproblem.apple.com
- Google: request through Google Play’s refund process
If something genuinely went wrong — you were charged and Pro never unlocked, for example — email us at kascashapp.ph@gmail.com and we’ll help you fix it or make your case to the store.
Restoring purchases.
Your Pro subscription is tied to the Apple ID or Google account that bought it. New phone, reinstalled app, or signed out and back in? Tap “Restore purchase” on the upgrade sheet while signed in to the same store account, and Pro comes back at no charge.
One subscription covers your personal use across your own devices on the same platform store. It can’t be transferred to another person or resold.
Your data, your responsibility.
As the Privacy Policy explains, your card data lives in encrypted storage on your phone — we don’t run servers that hold a copy. That design has a flip side you should know going in:
- KasCash is not a backup service. If you uninstall the app, wipe your phone, or lose the device, the data on it is gone. We cannot recover it, because we never had it.
- Accuracy is yours. The app calculates from what you type. If a due day or balance is entered wrong, reminders and totals will be wrong too.
- Keep your device secure. The biometric app lock in Settings is there for exactly this — we recommend turning it on.
Acceptable use.
Use KasCash for what it’s for: tracking your own cards. Don’t:
- Use the app for anything unlawful, or to track cards you have no right to manage
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app, or distribute altered copies
- Circumvent or tamper with the card limit, the paywall, or purchase verification
- Probe, overload, or interfere with the services the app relies on
- Abuse the support inbox — the human reading it is the same one building the app
Breaking these rules can end your access under section 13 — and forfeits any claim to a refund beyond what your store’s policy requires.
Reminders are not guarantees.
KasCash works hard to remind you before every due date — in-app banners and scheduled device notifications, up to six reminders per card per cycle. But notifications ultimately depend on things outside our control: OS permissions, battery savers, Do Not Disturb, a phone that’s off.
The honest line: you remain responsible for paying your bills. KasCash is your early-warning system, not your guarantor. We are not liable for late fees, interest, finance charges, or credit-score effects that result from a missed, delayed, or undelivered reminder.
Treat the app the way you’d treat a brilliant assistant with no signing authority: trust the nudge, verify the payment.
Intellectual property.
The KasCash app, name, logo, card-art designs, and everything else we made belongs to us. Your subscription or download gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own — nothing more.
Your data is the reverse: everything you type into KasCash is yours. We claim no rights over it — which is easy to promise, since it never leaves your phone.
Disclaimers and liability.
KasCash is provided “as is” and “as available.” We work hard on reliability, but we can’t promise the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for every purpose you might have in mind.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the app or these terms is limited to the amount you paid us through your app store in the 12 months before the claim — which, on the free plan, is zero. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including the late fees and credit effects described in section 10.
Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations; where that’s the case, these limits apply only as far as the law permits.
Termination.
By you: stop any time. Cancel the subscription in your store settings, delete the app, and — per the Privacy Policy — everything on the device is wiped with it. The app also offers a “Delete my account” option in-app.
By us: we may suspend or terminate access if you materially break these terms (section 09 is the usual culprit). If we ever discontinue KasCash entirely, your local data stays on your device and usable for as long as the installed app runs; active subscriptions would be cancelled forward, not clawed back.
Sections 08, 10, 11, 12, and 15 survive termination.
Changes to these terms.
When something material changes — pricing structure, the free-card limit, your rights — we will:
- Update the Effective and Last updated dates at the top of this page
- Bump the Version
- Show a one-tap notice inside the app the next time you open it
Minor edits (typos, clarifications, dead-link fixes) bump the Last updated date but don’t trigger an in-app notice. Continuing to use the app after a material change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you live somewhere with mandatory consumer protections, those still apply to you.
Before anything formal: email us. Nearly every dispute a small app ever has can be solved by two people talking. If that fails, disputes go to the competent courts of Metro Manila, Philippines — except where your local law guarantees you a venue at home.
